Kinetic Kids Occupational Therapy, PLLC offers high-quality, individualized, private pediatric occupational therapy services for children of all ages. Our sensory gym offers a unique setting and is not overcrowded like other gyms. Children and families work 1:1 together with their therapist. We strongly encourage parent participation in all sessions and provide thorough home and school carryover programs. We work with children and families to overcome challenges with sensory processing, gross motor, and fine motor skills.

Kinetic Kids Occupational Therapy, PLLC, helps enable children with sensory processing challenges to accurately detect, regulate, and interpret sensations, form appropriate motor and behavioral responses so that they can perform everyday activities. Treatment focuses on child driven movement tasks and is fun! Children are challenged through subtly structured sessions and feel a sense of success with completing each activity. The sensory gym is filled with suspended equipment, balls, climbing structures, crash pads, and other various sensory equipment. Erin, the owner, took pride in designing both gyms herself after she found other gyms she had been at before too restrictive in terms of their potential for child driven movement tasks. Sessions also focus heavily on play, relationships, and regulation and give children a sense of success. The sensory gyms are individualized so that families can work closely with the therapists.
SENSORY INTENSIVES
Kinetic Kids offers OT treatment intensives.
We are iLs-trained SSP Providers!
The Safe and Sound Protocol is designed to work with a person’s nervous system. When the child feels safe, calm and relaxed his/her nervous system will be receptive to new acoustic stimuli within the frequency band of human communication and this will maximize the effectiveness of the intervention. While feeling safe, calm, and relaxed may be difficult for many children, you can help by attempting to create this calming environment for the intervention administration.
